--John Lubbock

“Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.”

memories and adventures in MouseCatching

wow. first, lets start with Memories

Have you ever had one of those days where just the faintest smell of something would transport you back to that moment it happened whether it be good or bad? Where maybe the smell of a certain ingredient would bring back Grandmaw's Infamous Cookie Recipe? Or maybe the smell of The Ocean takes you to the time when you were a child, letting the waves crash over you in laughter? Well, i had one of those experiences tonight. I was dragging out the 3 huge boxes of Barbies and their Accessories to sort through to give to the little 7 year old neighbor of Mom's and mine, when suddenly i ran across these

Just a pair of a Barbie sofa set, but the smell of them is so memory-filled that it brought tears to my eyes, and i laid on the hardwood floor, hugging every piece of it to my heart. Or maybe these as i pulled them out of the box, smiling.

1994 Wal-Mart Special Edition Toothfairy Barbie
1996 Birthday Barbie
1997 Holiday Barbie

1999/2000 Millenium Princess Barbie (When everyone thought the world was going to end. What do you know, it's almost a decade later!)
And yet, of course, for the 1st time since Christmas Eve of 2004, the tabby cat prances out of the garage, holding something in his smirking and proud little mouth. But what, is this wonderous thing? A what? A MOUSE!!!?? who would have guessed?! and who, but the animal lover has to clean up the poor fellow's trail after begging COMIC to "not kill it! Let it live....OUTSIDE! It has a reason too you know!"
Therfore, I would like to hear some of your stories. On either subject, give or take?

ha

If someone uses the expression,"You look like you've just lost your best friend." i might just kick them in the balls if they have any. But, it kind of worked out for the best, it just sucks to have to deal with it for the next 4 days for 8 hours.

Happy Birthday!

Today is GenerationSwap's 59th birthday! Here, are some fun facts about the 50's that you may or may not remember.

---------------In 1950, the first modern credit card was introduced. The first organ transplant was performed, and the first Peanuts cartoon strip was released. The Korean War began, and Senator Joseph McCarthy begins the communist witch-hunt. United States President Truman ordered the construction of the hydrogen bomb. The average income was three thousand, two hundred sixteen dollars. Milk cost eighty-two cents, gas was twenty cents, and a postage stamp cost three cents. I know what your thinking. "We're getting ripped off. Gas now cost more than my shoelace."
In1951, color television was introduced. South Africans are forced to carry ID cards identifying their race. President Truman signs a peace treaty with Japan, which officially ended World War II. Winston Churchill is again the Prime Minister of Great Britain. A house cost sixteen thousand dollars, and milk cost ninety-two cents. Six bottles of Coca-Cola cost thirty-seven cents. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are executed for espionage. Two brothers-in-law, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins decide to open an ice cream store together. In the movie, Shrek 2, the popular ice cream store was parodied as Bassken-Robenhood. I found that hilarious, because it went well with the whole enchilada of fairytale business. The first three dimensional movie, Arch Oboler’s Bwana Devil is shown. The world’s first instant iced tea was White Rose Redi-tea. The first musical synthesizer is invented by RCA.

I wonder how much stickers cost back then? One pint of potato salad cost twenty-nine cents. The Tetracycline and optic fiber were invented. Tappan manufactured the first home microwave ovens. Since the microwave ovens cost one thousand, three hundred dollars, sales were slow.

Meteskey, the New York City “Mad Bomber” is arrested in Waterbury, Connecticut. He is charged with planting over thirty bombs. If all of your friends were jumping off a bridge would you?) Willie Edwards drowns as a result. 11 May 2009

decisions, decisions, decisions.

As you all know( if you follow my blog.) i have been in a turmoil of deciding if i do, or do not want to keep this( gosh, it sounds like my baby.) well, i do. it will take time, but i'm going to take it. But, lets shed some light on a nicer things. i have had few relationships in my years, 4 out of 6 failed because of number able reasons only we two knew. but, since it's been awhile since my past relationship, i have decided to open my heart again to Mop-Headed Wonder Teen, which is taking a PRETTY big step since i have shielded my heart heavily in the past year and a half, letting few in and VERY few close. He just doesn't know my feelings yet, not sure that it's going to be very easy to tell him....but...wish me luck!

09 May 2009

i just dont know...

so......i know i havent been posting a lot....but its just kind of hard...between school, and other things(like having your tooth pulled yesterday&being bedridden.)...so...i'm trying to decide whether or not i want to keep it...because i can't even figure out how to put a playlist on it....and it's just so time consuming...

people, should i or shouldn't i keep this blog.

01 May 2009

rain.

you've gotta hate it, sometimes love it.

1. Hate it: when it rains EVERYday, without fail. and tornadoes are in every county surrrounding you and you are stuck in a home by yourself.

2. Isnt it supposed to be good? like the perfect essential to the romantic kiss.

EXT. FIELD. HEAVY RAIN.

BOY gets out of car, seeing GIRL. he runs to her, grabs her into the perfect-kiss-in-the-rain scene. Huge Lightning strikes, and shocks the BOY to his death, dying in the girl's arms.

haha, that's my luck.

i'm in a kind of pessimistic mood today.

maybe because it hasnt been the best of weeks, including last week.

oh well, life has its ups, life has its downs.

(: GenerationSwap has started a WONDERFUL little blog( Kudos to that)

well, JJoppo is Sunnyland(lucky little grr)

Life goes on.

well man it's been nice to skip school today and its time to turn in almost.
