Thoughts

I've just been thinking lately, about every one's different views on things, like racism, and gay rights, and I really don't see what the big deal is! I mean, yes, I am a Christian, but I don't see anywhere in the Bible, where it says, to judge someone on the way that they want to live their lives. Everyone SHOULD be able to live their lives in peace, without being judged on their actions, it's not right, for us, or anyone but God to do! And even religion! There are people out there who don't believe in the same God as we might, but that doesn't give us the right to try to change their beliefs, that is their decision!

Look at the people, that are slash, they are some of the nicest people that you will ever meet! And we can't rule them out of Heaven, just like we can't rule race out of Heaven.

To some of you, this might bother you, but it is a very strong topic with me: I know quite a few male homosexuals, and also quite a few female homosexuals, and they would do anything for you if you asked them to!

I will admit, there are times where I judge someone, as does anyone, no matter what they say, but I'm trying to not do so. At first, I didn't like Obama, not because of his race, but because of his views, and back-ground, but now, after one of the video's below, he is a good President! No one should feel judged, in any one's eyes.

I found a few quotes, and 2 videos that I would like to share, if you are willing.

::::::Free your mind

Yes We Can

:::::::Marian Wright Edelman:
If you as parents cut corners, your children will too. If you lie, they will too. If you spend all your money on yourselves and tithe no portion of it for charities, colleges, churches, synagogues, and civic causes, your children won't either. And if parents snicker at racial and gender jokes, another generation will pass on the poison adults still have not had the courage to snuff out.

Robert F. Kennedy:
But suppose God is black? What if we go to Heaven and we, all our lives, have treated the Negro as an inferior, and God is there, and we look up and He is not white? What then is our response?

Elie Wiesel:
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.
(Oct. 1986)

No government has the right to tell its citizens when or whom to love. The only queer people are those who don't love anybody.

~Rita Mae Brown, speech, 28 August 1982

If homosexuality is a disease, let's all call in queer to work: "Hello. Can't work today, still queer."

~Robin Tyler

Starting off the stressful week.

Back back back!

If you haven't already figured this out, We don't post on Saturday's and Sunday's, because that's family time.

And, yes, I can tell the week is already going to be stressful...what's new?

I found a pretty little quote in Lit class today and the rest just kind of formed. See what you think. And if you get it.

Some say Money buys Love...but I say that Love buys Money...

Get it?
People say that Money...can be happiness...and love. By buying certain gifts.
But I say, Love buys money...because love is like a ton of money...you need to earn it.. and you need to willing SHARE it.
Now it makes more sense I hope....

A Dedication

I'm dedicating this post to my Great Grandmother...Ma. Born, August 6, 1919. Being 4 when Ma died, I didn't really get the chance to get to know her very well. And I really, REALLY, wish that I had. Because..now I just have photo's and video's....no memories...and I really do hate that so very much, because everyone else has so much to say about her, and what do I have to say? "I...I don't remember that..." So, Ma, if you're reading this upstairs, or you can see or hear me writing this...just know that I DO miss you. And I wish I had the chance everyone else had to get to know you. I still do love you though. Tomorrow would have been her 90th birthday.

In dedication to you, a song that one of your daughters told me about....

“Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.”

August

The 3rd day of August....ugh...days closer to returning to prison...
Anyway, I'm being haunted...
By those birds who launched attack on me the first time.
I was ouside.
Just sitting.
And they started calling my name!
I am NOT kidding!
I'm seriously not.
They want revenge on me!
Or, maybe I'm just going insane.
Either way.

Interesting things about August::
1. July was named after Julius Caesar...."July"..."Julius". His nephew, Augustus defeated Cleopatra and Marc Antony, so it was said he should have a month named after him also. Hence, "August"...."Augustus"

And August 3rd::
1. It's the 218th day of the year

2. 8/3/1527---First known letter is sent from North America by John Rut while at St. John's, Newfoundland.

3. 8/3/1673---Robert LaSalle builds the Le Griffon, the first known ship built in America.

4. 8/3/ 1783---Mount Asama erupts in Japan, killing 35,000 people.

I sit here at GenerationSwap's tonight, happy as a butterfly, sitting here in Doggy Flower pj pants(:

1. My Birthday was great!

2. KJoppo, and JJoppo came over Wednesday night. nice to laugh with them again

3. Life is Beautiful!

1.) I woke up, made breakfast, opened presents from Ashasta (purity ring& a bright, flowery maxi dress.), went to COMIC's house, and then came here for dinner and celebration.

2.) Wednesday, after a planning of this event for 2 weeks, they came, AFTER we went and saw the Hannah Montana:The Movie, (which is odd, because i usually think Miley Cyrus is a tramp.) they came back to COMIC'S house with me, and we played RockBand, ate(a lot), watched Twilight(for the 10th time), laughed, giggled, ran inside the house, practiced our screenplays, stayed up until 4 am, (which resulted in COMIC's not being able to fall asleep until 12 am.) Cortesy of us 3(: but iverall it was fun. exclude the fact that JJoppo had a Calergy attack. ):

3.) "We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep on watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it" ---John Lennon
