Swine


Now that Swine Flu (H1N1) is even MORE dangerous. 5 kids at our school now have the virus. I figured I would post about it.


Information as of 9/28/09


-Swine Flu Hospitalized Cases: 10,082

-Swine Flu Deaths: 936

-Swine Flu Pediatric Deaths: 49 (total)

-No Flu Activity: No states

-Sporadic Flu Activity: 1 State (Vermont) and Guam

-Local Flu Activity: 12 States (Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, and Wyoming), Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia


-Regional Flu Activity: 11 States (Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wisconsin)
