Firstly....Most of you may know that we lost two amazing celebrities today. The beautiful Farrah Fawcett, and well...the great musician, Michael Jackson...
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on Feb/2/1947.
And, her first big movie role was Myra Breckenridge in 1970.
In 2006, she was diagnosed with Cancer, and went through a long battle, until her death today at 9:28 am at St. Johns Hospital in Santa Monica, California in the ICU. Her ex-husband Ryan O' Neil and longtime friend Alana Stewart were at her bedside vigil.
Okay, I know more about him, because I listened to his music.
He was born in 1958, 29th, August in Gary, Indiana
He had 9 brothers and sisters, in which he was in the Jackson 5 with:::: Marlon, Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, and himself. He was also siblings with Janet, Maurine and Latoya, and brothers with Randy. He suffered some really screwed up abuse from his father, mentally and physically. And, the Jackson 5 had some really great hits, as well as he. He was found under cardiac arrest in his home in Homely Hills in LA this afternoon, as fans screamed out "save him!", he was carried to the hospital, where they tried to revive him, but could not.
His Best::::::::
Thriller, Beat It, Dirty Diana, and Man in the Mirror
Jackson 5's Best:::::::::
ABC, Ben, and Rockin' Robin
Although he had his "very strange deals" he made some truly great music, by no doubt.
Both souls will truly great in completley different ways, and will both be treasured.

This post was great,so much better than mine.
ReplyDeleteExcellent blog entry. Great job! The first album of any kind I purchased was a cassette tape of "Thriller" with money I earned working in a pepper field when I was 13. I wore that cassette out. I now own the CD.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of the media scrutiny surrounding him, MJ was a once in a lifetime artist. It is just so sad that the negative aspects have somewhat tarnished his greatness. But not in my eyes. His personal life is separate from his music.
