finally!

FINALLY!

I have finished the last Harry Potter book!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

As I approached the end of the novel, the beloved novel that I so cherished, the novel that I spent hours pouring my mind, ears, eyes, and soul into,(and nose of course)..bookworm. I stuck with the Magical Trio through the beginning. The novel, that stimulated almost all of my childhood dreams, acting experiences(from HOURS of role playing Harry Potter.), and gave me an imagination that I could slip into at any rough place. And, as I reached the end of this novel... the last few pages...I felt a sentimental gratitude, sadness, but yet happy, that I could join the journey so many others have onto the Train to Hogwarts. And, I might have shed a few tears in respect for my past, and those beloved characters, who may be lost, but will always be in my heart. To that, JK Rowling, I thank you. So very, very much.

WARNING!

DEATHLY HALLOWS SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!

Wednesday Wish

WEDNESDAY WISH::::

This world needs to lighten, and listen up...
Prices are way too high. People are dying on the streets! And what do the "Great people" in the "Brilliant Government" do, Our "Friends"? They sit there like cowards, laundering money from us and stuffing their piggy banks full of their people's money! They should be ashamed!

A pretty suprise

This is the view COMIC and I saw yesterday evening.

We were sitting on our back-porch swing, watching, after he had just put up the new hummingbird feeders. They're so fast, those little buggers! And small! So very small that you can barely see them! Anyways, here's some facts::::::::

Facts:

Hummingbirds are found only in North America and South America.
Hummingbirds are found as far north as southeastern Alaska and as far south as southern Chile.
South America has the biggest variety of hummingbirds and more than half the species are found there. The country of Ecuador in northwestern South America has the largest number of hummingbirds of any one country with 163 different species.
There are over fifty species of hummingbirds that regularly breed in Mexico.

Hummingbirds range in size from the smallest (the Bee Hummingbird of Cuba that weighs about 2.2 grams) ..... to the largest (the Giant Hummingbird of South America that weighs about 20 grams).

Unlike other birds, a hummingbird can rotate it's wings in a circle. Because of this special hummingbird fact, they are the only bird that can fly both forwards and backwards. They can also fly up, down, sideways, hover in one spot, or fly upside down for short distances.
Normal flight speed for hummingbirds is about 25 miles per hour, but they have been clocked at speeds in excess of fifty miles per hour during their courtship dives.
During normal flight a hummingbirds wings beat about 60-80 times per second. In their courtship dives they might beat up to 200 times per second.

Hummingbirds will feed 5 to eight times every hour for 30 to 60 seconds at a time

Wednesday Wish

Today's wish::::

PEACE

A word often misunderstood.

But in my mind, peace is;

Love, no war, no hate, just everyone living on this Earth, happy and content, with no reason to be bitter.

5 Things

Ok, here's the game///

THINGS YOU PROBABLY(OR DID) KNOW ABOUT ME

Here's the directions//

CREATE A POST OR COMMENT TELLING 5 THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF AND DESCRIBE.

Here's mine::

1. I'm a little bit afraid of the dark, and it has nothing to do with horror movies.

2. I'm terrified of spiders. Whenever I see or hear about them, I automatically lift my feet, tuck myself into a ball, and squirm.

3. I despise clowns. I don't know how it even started, because Joker's don't bother me (I think it's when we were playing a game and a porceiln clown was staring straight at me.) but everytime we go to Generation Swap's, I have to dodge seeing the wrath's of my great- grandmother's clown display case.

4. I'm obssessed with finding old things. Whether it be pictures of my family, or clothes. I've begged to go through my other gramma's jewelry, and GS's trunk of pictures and memoribillia.

5. I plan to travel to all 50 states in the US, Australia, Europe, the UK, Ireland, Africa, China one day. Money is the only thing stopping me.

And she thought I was a packrat...

Ashatasha IS the packrat!
COMIC and I were going through the attic of his house yesterday, un-earthing (literally) FORTY-THREE and plus, HEAVY and FULLY loaded boes of stuff. After we'd ALREADY done this before! It's truly amazing that almost two years after divorce, you can STILL find stuff to move. And she calls me a packrat...ha.

Wednesday Wish

First, I know this is an early time for me to be posting, but KJ and JJoppo are coming, so I won't be able to post. YAY!

Ok, we are going to try something. Starting today, and now on, every Wednesday, I'm going to post something that I wish to own. REALLY wish to own, and I would also like you to post one of your wishes too! So here it goes.

1. an old Polaroid instant camera!

When all else fails, tear apart a Password Journal

Usually, I don't mind when I lose things.

Usually, I can replace them.

Unless they're vintage

Because then they're just too expensive.

But this particular piece of jewelry.

I can't find it.

And I need to.

Because I can't replace it.

And I've looked....everywhere.

No sign.

It's the ring that my cousin RC, sent to me in the early 2000's.

And I loved it.

But somewhere in between the moving of two houses, I seem to have misplaced it.

And I have overturned my room, every single piece of it with a desperate hope of finding it.

Nothing...

And it was the most beautiful ring for a 7 year old child, A Pink Rhinestone Angel with a delicate little golden halo and band.

I really don't know what it is about this ring, but...it's like magic.

Ever since it hasn't been on my finger, I haven't had good luck.

Let's all hope it can be found!

one flew over the cuckoo's nest

That's apparently exactly what I did this morning.

And now I hate birds.

Of any kind.

I was just walking along the driveway, listening to some music, and basically doing nothing. I started seeing two birds flying, and thought nothing of it, that they were just passing overhead, and continued walking. Until, I saw something out of the corner of my eye just inches from me. It was the bird, wait, no, TWO birds. Flying at my head like it was some game. I ran, full speed down the road as the winged creatures continued to dive bomb me, still playing their game. And play they did, all the way to Ashatasha's house.

And now I think I'm mentally scarred and scared for life.

AND now know exactly how these people feel

Adventures in Mouse Catching...Part two

"I don't see what the big deal is. It's just another animal." I said to Ashatasha.

"I don't CARE. Get this varmint off of my porch!"

So, I(rolling my eyes) slid the scrubbing glove that she insisted I use, and picked the poor thing off of the porch, and out of the site of my terrified mother.

Then, attempting to further annoy her fear, picked it up by it's tail and promptly waved it in front of her face, separated only by a glass door, while 5 kittens stared anxiously up at it, licking their lips. Then, laughing, I shoved it in the Wal-Mart bag, tied it, and threw it in the trash. Still laughing, Ashatasha ushered me into the house, shoving my "disease filled" hands into scolding hot water and pouring scented lotion on them, scrubbed like I was on fire.

Now, I have absoultley no problem with rodents, I actually think they're one of the cutest little creatures on Earth. But, I have many stories involving mice (posts soon too follow.)

Maybe that explains my two hour nap, and grogginess today.

11 July 2009

and the spree continues...

Gah, again with the food.

Popcorn.....Peanut Butter and Honey bowls....ice cream....chocolate bars...basically anything that I can get my hands on without having to go too far into the dark dungeon of terror that I like to call the living room. Yeah, I'm definitly all up for some food right now!

Soon I'm gonna turn into a...only God knows what.

Ah how I love going to GenerationSwap's house!

The sweet smell of food cooking and sound of cracking Pepsi's open.

And of course, my grandmother...http://myaimlessinfatuation.blogspot.com/

Lately, and for quite a few months now, I've been feeling like getting in touch with family that I haven't comminucated with in a decade probably...and boy, does it feel good, just to know that they are still doing okay.

And smelling the refreshing smell of honeysuckle has affected me too.

I just need to take a break.

Enjoy these little things.

Step away from the holds of technology, and just ride, to nowhere really, just away.

Too bad I don't have a car.

But what about you guys?

I want to know about you.

sewer cookies

If there is ANYTHING that ticks me off more than mocking my family it's wishing to KILL my two sisters! And boy was I on the verge of a long-spanned axe murdering parade tonight! When MHWT opposed the conversation of "killing" KJ.

MHWT: Cough KJ cough

FLOWER: Scuse me?

MHWT: Come to the dark side

FLOWER: I don't give a rat's *butt* if you have cookies!

MHWT: But they're tasty cookies!

Nah to the uh!

Enough of the ranting.

I'll be back on track soon.

And remember, comments.

I LOVE receiving comments!

KJ: Well, we don't have any cookies or anything

FC: Oh! Brownies are good too!

KJ: mmmmmmmm!

FC: We have a some-kind-of-cake-but-I-don't-know-the-name-of-it in the pantry. But...keep in mind...ahem...Peanut Butter Fudge Nut with chocolate syrup drenched over them and some whipped cream are THE best brownies EVER! Ahem...just...saying...

KJ: No no no I KNOW what the best brownies ever are! Brownies with vanilla mousse and chocolate fudge and caramel drizzled over them!

Gah, I think I just gained another 5 pounds just TYPING that!

After resting from 3am-8am yesterday, we had a fun filled swim party at one of the Church families houses, for 6 hours. And guess what? I still got no sun. But it was entirely and unbelievably fun! And our plans for the 4th of July are, "staying home and cleaning" OH....joy. What are all of your plans?
